The Kingdom of God!

.

Chapter 33

.

Jesus said in Luke 19:10,

" For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost."

I want you to notice here that Jesus calls Himself, the Son of Man! He did this because, even though He was the Son of God, He laid down that position and came down here as the Son of Man. As a man, He was constrained to be led by the Holy Spirit, thus, setting us an example of how to be led by the Spirit. Jesus said in John 5:30,

" I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which has sent me."

So, my question to you is, "What was lost?" What was lost, was lost in the Garden of Eden. When Adam sinned, he lost that spiritual connection with God that gave him the Power to rule and reign on earth! The power that Adam had to name all of the animals, was because he was filled with the Holy Spirit. However, when he sinned by not having faith in the word of the Lord and believed what Satan told him, it severed his relationship with God and the Lord withdrew His Spirit from him. As a result of this, it affects all of his offspring's and they were held captive under the power of Sin.

Paul said in Rom. 3:9, (NIV)

"For we have already made the charge that Jews and Gentiles alike are all under the power of sin."

Jesus's mission was to pay the price in order to buy back all those subject to the power of Sin.

The reason I shared this with you was to help you understand the callings of the Lord. I knew at a very young age that the Lord had called me to be a teacher. In order to be a teacher, you must learn to hear what the prophets are saying and be able to break it down so the sheep can digest it, or in other words, understand what the Lord is really saying. To do this successfully, you must study the word and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal it to you. When you have the written word of God as your foundation, then you can discern the spoken word of God. To be able to do this, you must be a seeker of truth! Jesus said in John 8:32,

" If you continue in my word ;then are you my disciples indeed; And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."

He also said in John 14:6,

" I am the way, the truth, and the life no man comes unto the Father, but by me."

In order to approach our Father, you must approach Him through Jesus! To know the truth, you must know Jesus because He is the truth! Do you study the Bible to prove what you believe is the truth or do you study the Bible with an open mind so you can discern the truth? Jesus told the disciples in John 14:26,

" But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you."

Most anyone can teach what the Bible is saying and quote scripture, but to understand the spiritual meaning of the Bible you have to have spiritual ears to hear. The Holy Spirit is constantly revealing what the prophecies of the Old Testament mean. Many of these prophecies are presently being fulfilled or are yet to be filled.

One of the things that shocked me when I was around 35 years old was to hear a speaker say that I could have a personal relationship with Jesus! James said in James 4:8,

" Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you."

It was revealed to me that the Lord was not somewhere beyond the blue, way out there somewhere in a place called heaven. Paul said in Col. 1:26-27,

" Even the mystery which has been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory"

If you have been born again, the Spirit of the Lord and your spirit have become one. Or in other words, of the same origin. Paul said in 1 Cor. 6:17,

" He that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit."

Even if you take the view that the Lord is somewhere above the blue seated at the right hand of the Father, Paul said in Eph. 2:5-6,

" Even when we were dead (to God) in sins, has quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And has raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus"

This is not the baptism of the Holy Spirit that was poured out on the Day of Pentecost to those believers assembled in the upper room. If you have been born again, the Holy Spirit has placed you in the body of Christ and will lead you into the deeper truths of the written word if you desire to know the truth!

I want to switch gears now and look at what the Apostle Paul had to say about being transformed in Rom. 12:2,

" Be not conformed to this world: but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."

I want to talk to you about what is going on inside your head. This transformation comes from knowing the truth and applying it! So, I have a question for you:

Do you speak kind and encouraging words to yourself, or do you constantly put yourself down? One of the most powerful factors in personal transformation is self-talk! If you are "transformed by the renewing of your mind, " as the Bible states," how you think and what you say to yourself have to be top factors in your transformation (Romans 12:2).

So, where do we begin?

1. We need awareness! The mischief regarding self-talk is that it is so constant we seldom are aware we are doing it. You won't always catch it, but you can be aware of how it makes you feel. Your emotions are wired to your thoughts, they are linked into a cause and effect sequence. As Paul wrote to the Romans in verse 8:6 "The mind that is set on the flesh is death, but the mind that is set on the Spirit is life and peace."

What am I saying to myself right now? Get clear on the thought or belief that you hold about yourself, others, or the situation in mind.

2. "Can I absolutely be certain that what I believe is true? How do I know?" Does what you are thinking actually line up with the Word of God? If not, what should you change? Again, if it's the truth that sets you free, it's a lie that holds you captive. What's the lie at the root of this? Is there a subtle insinuation that "You are not enough" or "You will not be loved," or "You will lose something you value"? Or any thought that degrades your self-image!

3 Does this thought or attitude serve my ultimate best interest? Does it make me happy, calm, and fulfilled? Evaluate your current state and also historically how these beliefs have affected you. Often, we can observe a spiraling pattern of negativity or anxiety when such feelings are allowed to dominate our inner world.

4.Does this attitude or belief get me more of what I want, need, and deserve? Is it taking you into your desired future, or is it leading you into circumstances that you don't want?

To be an overcomer, we must learn to bring every thought into captivity and make our thoughts line up with the word of God. Paul said in Eph. 6:3-5,

" Though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ."

Let's all commit to speaking truth in love over ourselves, creating positivity and fulfillment from the inside out!

My heart's desire has always been to make disciples of Christ. However, as a pastor, I have to operate in all the gifts of the Spirit at times. I can prophesy, but I am not a prophet, I can evangelize, but I am not an evangelist. However, Paul said in Phill. 4:17,

" I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me."

He also said in 1 Cor. 12:18,

" But now has God set the members, every one of them in the body, as it has pleased him."

When the anointing of the Holy Spirit is on you, there is nothing impossible, if you believe.

Now, to what is happening in the stolen election. Sidney Powell said this week, "The Fake News is lying to everyone about our filing in the Dominion case. My position has not changed. We will be taking them to the mat."

Howard Kleinhendler, attorney for Sidney Powell, responded to the media's allegations concerning motion to dismiss filed against Dominion complaint.

Dominion v. FREE SPEECH

This lawsuit is yet another attempt to silence critics and citizens who want to investigate voter fraud. The statements Dominion claims are defamatory are actually protected speech under the First Amendment because they deal with matters of public concern, i.e., election integrity. The Fake News media and their allies are spinning (Leviathan) meritless claims because their arguments have neither the facts nor the law needed to hold up in a courtroom.

The statements complained of are also protected because Dominion is a public figure and must prove that Ms. Powell acted with malice.  This is impossible, as Ms. Powell's lawyer has explained, because Ms. Powell's statements were based on sworn affidavits, declarations, expert reports and documentary evidence.  She presented this evidence for all to see in four court filings and on her website.

FAKE NEWS v. Reality

Contrary to what the Fake News is pushing, Sidney did NOT claim in court that "No reasonable person would believe her claims." The press is using twisted legalese (Leviathan) and manipulating the legal standard to confuse the issue, as they have done before in other high-profile cases. Ms. Powell's statements were legal opinions that she stands behind, as they were based on sworn affidavits, declarations, expert reports and documentary evidence.

Dominion claims that the evidence Ms. Powell relied upon to assert her claims concerning the lack of election integrity is incredible and not believable.  Ms. Powell responded by pointing out that her assertions were her legal opinions based on the evidence she presented to four different courts.  Accordingly, her statements are not subject to challenge under defamation law.

There is a great shaking going on in the world today and also in the Church! God is wanting to have a glorious Church worthy of sending His Son to come reign with for a thousand years. I am now 81 years old and, in my lifetime, I have never seen the likes of what is going on in our nation today. The enemy has infiltrated our schools, our colleges, our universities and our media. Truth is no longer the standard we live by. The lust for power and riches has perverted our society and evil is trying to tear down the foundation our nation was built on.

We as the Church can no longer just sit by and allowing these evils to destroy our nation. We must get involved in the world we live in and fill it with the principles of the Kingdom of God! I remember back in the 60's, when I was in college in Kansas City, Mo., one of our elders was the president of Russell Stover Candy and another elder was involved with a large manufacturing company. This is how we are going to take back our nation. You can be a part of this by living Kingdom principles in in the world and not conforming to the world. This is where we have lost the influence of the Kingdom of God. Instead of changing the world we live in, we conformed to the world and as a consequence, we are at the verge of losing our nation.
